Families across the US get Core Care as part of employer subsidized care. Through 1:1 consultations, Helpr finds not just one, but multiple solutions to puzzle care together and build permanent or temporary care solutions that work for you.

Find out if your employer qualifies and learn more about subsidized care benefits.

For families who need more consistent care

Families can secure primary and occasional care with the support of a Care Consultant, who guides them through every step of the search and selection process.

Direct Hire

After a 1:1 consultation, Helpr sources and conducts full screenings for qualified candidates, including nannies, birth workers, and adult care providers. We present our top picks for parent review and help schedule interviews and trial days.

Screenings include virtual interviews, reference checks, DUI and background checks, social media review, and CPR certification. Available for care share or individual families.

Care Provider Assist

Some parents already have care providers they are considering for hire. Parents send candidates to the Helpr team for a full screening including phone and virtual interviews, resume reviews, reference checks, and background checks for preferred candidate(s). Available for Care Share or individual families.

Care Center Match

Care Consultants research quality in-home or center-based daycare or preschool facilities that meet the family’s standards. We contact the centers to gather information and provide parents with top options based on location, care philosophy and budget. We also arrange tours and help families get on waitlists.

Care Share

Our program connects parents looking to share in-home primary care providers. Families can use their own nanny or a someone sourced by Helpr. Families share a nanny across the week, in one home or split across homes. Care Shares allow families to share childcare costs and secure quality care from an experienced childcare provider.

We find pre and postpartum doulas and newborn care specialists

“Helpr provided us with a group of amazing (and vetted) candidates, and was available to assist every step of the way. We quickly found the most amazing and wonderful part time nanny, who is still with our family over 3 years later - and will be so for years to come! Helpr was instrumental in helping me stay in the workforce full time.”

 Core Care Family Use Cases

Whether the pandemic has thrown a wrench into your childcare (i.e. school closures), you’ve relocated to a new city, need help navigating the new landscape, or have recently had a new baby, we’re here to help you get the assistance you need.

Relocation without a Support System

A corporate family with two children in Colorado relocated and lost their established, trusted network of friends and family to lean on for childcare support. With two weeks notice, Helpr sourced a temporary full-time nanny for the family to assist with childcare needs before schools open in their new community.

Night Newborn Specialist for Corporate Family

A corporate family in Los Angeles had their first baby in June. They needed help with a temporary newborn night specialist as COVID-19 has limited extended family support. The parents needed help navigating the care space immediately. Within two weeks, we were able to find a night newborn specialist who is doing a temporary placement with the family. We also consulted with the family to assist with screening for back-up childcare support once the parents return to work in August.

Family at High Risk for COVID

A parent whose family was at the highest risk for COVID transmission reached out to Helpr needing assistance with care for their four year old, and assist with her remote learning. They needed a caregiver who would be able to follow strict COVID safety protocols and also be sensitive to their unique situation, as the coparent is a frontline worker. Helpr was able to swiftly recruit candidates that met their needs. The family is currently in the final stage to hire their nanny, which has let the parents be able to do their jobs with a much lower level of stress.
